Anthony Sottile, III, Esq.
Anthony Sottile, III is a partner at the firm, and he concentrates his practice in the area of family law, including custody, divorce and support matters. Mr. Sottile is the current Magisterial District Judge for Indiana Borough and parts of White Township, 42-2-01.
Practicing law since 1990, Mr. Sottile is a member of the Indiana County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He has acted as the co-chair of the Indiana County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Protection from Abuse Program where he was recognized by the Pennsylvania Bar Association as a lawyer who is “Making a Difference.”
Mr. Sottile served as a Child Custody Mediator, Permanent Hearing Officer for the Domestic Relations Section, Guardian ad Litem for children and as a Master in both partition matters and divorce matters. Mr. Sottile was the Solicitor for Blacklick Township and for the Armstrong-Indiana Behavioral and Developmental Health Program for several years.
Mr. Sottile graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana in 1990.
Within the community, Mr. Sottile enjoys acting as a PIAA sports official for both basketball and baseball and works as an umpire in a number of amateur baseball leagues. Mr. Sottile also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Indiana County Chapter, held a number of officer positions in Council 1481 of the Knights of Columbus and is currently the secretary of the Indiana County Sports Hall of Fame. He currently serves as a lector for St. Bernard of Clairvaux parish.
